Role Mission

Build and nurture the best Web3 contributor community in the world.

• You will participate in the company’s vision & strategy development, build out a community from the ground up, set up a team & processes to implement your strategy, and much more. 
• You’re the Chief Vibe Officer, who is responsible for the community's mood and morale.
• You can create your own narratives and adapt existing ones to educate and entertain the community. It’s easy for you to simplify complex Web3 concepts into memes and one-liners that become viral. 
• You don’t need to be asked to do Twitter Spaces or AMA, it’s already scheduled and promoted :) 
• You also will be the first “touchpoint” for potential contributors that join the community, welcoming new members and helping to match them with the best available opportunities. 
• You will have access to all the best people, communities, and companies in Web3, having the chance to do interviews, events, and any crazy ideas you might have.

responsibilities

• Create and oversee community strategy across the entire organization
• Coordinate onboarding and engagement activities for community members
• Organize community events, such as AMA, Twitter Spaces, offline gatherings, etc
• Build long-term relationships with other communities and DAOs
• Create simple yet thorough documentation for community members to join, apply and participate in various activities
• Create written guidelines to help the community members to start contributing, e.g. producing content and organizing events
• Create an effective governance system and oversee how we delegate certain strategic and tactical initiatives to our community
• Measure success. Analyze relevant KPIs, steer the effort, and evaluate your performance

requirements

• Track record of building and managing communities, collaborating with partners, organizing events, and working with other team members to generate the content required to meet your objectives
• Interest in game and social theory, group dynamics, building communities and ecosystems
• Deep conceptual understanding of the Web3 ecosystem (L1s-L2s, DeFi, NFTs)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Excellent social listening & emotional intelligence skills that allow you to recognize shifts/trends both in the market and in the community’s mood to inform your engagement strategy
• Developed analytics & systems thinking, allowing you to view a situation in the broader business context, above and beyond the minute details
• Ability to motivate and lead others to desired results

Experience requirements:

• 3+ years in community management 
• 3+ years of experience in blockchain & Web3
